Since our lives are closely linked with death, I often think about it. Even if there is a discrepancy from the ideal death depicted in Jon Fosse\u2019s novel, there exists a dreamlike death of its own. At the crossroads of life, the choices that lead to fewer regrets hold significant satisfaction, and if one can meet a fulfilling death, having lived somewhat for the world and letting go of oneself, then one would willingly say farewell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether it\u2019s due to disaster, accident, or natural causes, death is not something we can decide with will, and even if one takes one’s own life, the circumstances are not chosen; thus, the aesthetic consciousness of death’s irony remains blurred, aligning with this book in the sense that it does not conclude definitively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Am I alive now, or if dead, is it a satisfying death, carrying around this body that is heavy yet somehow light, painfully and joyfully dragging this already deceased corpse, wandering the worldly life, perhaps flowing along as if in a dream,
